From AAHS Arkansas state leader Tamme
HCR 1004 on Thursday

Please help and pass this on to everyone and ask them to oppose this legislation. This bill has already passed in the House and will be discussed by the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development on Thursday. We need to send emails ASAP since the bill will be discussed by these committee members on Thursday. Here are the committee members. Please email them and ask anyone that you know in their districts to email them. Let's show this committee that we do not want to be known as the state that supports horse slaughter and clearly indicate to them that we oppose HCR 1004.

Senator Jim Luker (Crittenden, Cross, Lee, Monroe, St. Francis, Phillips, Woodruff Counties)
Vice Chair
Senator Jerry Taylor (Cleveland, Desha, Grant, Jefferson, Lincoln, Saline Counties)
Senator Ruth Whitaker (Crawford County)
Senator Jimmy Jeffress (Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha, Drew Counties)
Senator Shane Broadway (Saline, Pulaski Counties)
Senator Gene Jeffress (Calhoun, Union, Ouachita Counties)
Senator Mary Anne Salmon (North Little Rock)
Senator David Wyatt (Independence, Jackson, White Counties)

Its the work of the National Conference of State Legislatures behind all this "state-by-state" organizing;

Greetings Fellow Equine Lovers, Protectors, Rescuers & Advocates!

Have you heard the latest about the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) and their pro-slaughter agenda?

Here are a few petitions to hopefully counter-act some of their workings since they have "officially" come out for horse slaughter and in opposition of our national anti-horse slaughter efforts....as you can see by the petitions below, they are organizing through their state legislative processes on a state-by-state basis to keep the slaughter going and to get horse slaughter plants in their respective states.

We must meet them and oppose them at every turn!

National Conference of State Legislators

North Dakota

Please sign these petitions, take action and pass them around.
